Photo Facial Treatments –For Facial Rejuvation
The sun can have lasting effects on your skin, leaving redness, blotchiness, and other issues with uneven appearance.  If you want to have a more even skin tone with a safe and simple procedure, the Lumenis One ™ IPL Photo Facial Rejuvenation System is the right procedure for you.
Let Dr. Milan Shah erase the signs of sun damage, acne scarring, and aging with this effective procedure.

The Procedure Explained
In essence, a photo facial is a skin treatment that uses intense pulse light technology.  Most treatments are performed to treat acne, broken capillaries, brown spots, and sun damage.  The process can be performed in two ways:

  • The first technique is gentle and uses pulses of light to stimulate collagen production.  This process will allow your skin to become fuller and more “plump”, which will make it look much younger.  This technology can also work to kill bacteria that cause acne.  LED photo facials are very tolerable.  People in search of a way to treat acne or boost collagen production mostly use them.
  • IPL technology is also used most often for people in need of help with brown spots, sun damage, or spider veins.  This is a laser treatment, which is performed by delivering a blast of light at high levels of energy at the targeted area.  They are much more effective for skin discoloration and are the common choice at cosmetic surgery centers.  Dr. Shah  Not only spelcializes treating a wide varielty of conditions using the IPL technology but also is a Lumenis Lumenary which mean he trains other medical personel in its utility.

Problems Caused by Sun Damage
Although it can feel good to enjoy the warm sun, it’s important to understand the damage it can cause to your skin.

Sun can cause:

  • Fine and coarse wrinkles
  • Sallowness (yellow discoloration of the skin)
  • Elastosis (destruction of the elastic tissue causing lines and wrinkles)
  • Freckles
  • Mottled Pigmentation (discolored areas of the skin)

If you notice your skin has damage like this, Dr. Shah can help.  Find out how he can erase the signs of sun damage.
